About Me

My photo
I am a 27 year old married mother of a beautiful, curly headed toddler named Easton and precious (and precocious) puppy named Ritzy. I have 3 blogs. The first blog is our family blog. Enjoy being nosey. Ha! The second blog is for the journey we have embarked on for our puppy. At almost 5 years old, our sweet Ritzy was diagnosed with calcium oxalate bladder stones. He had surgery to remove the stones. This blog is to document (and help others) our journey in saving Ritzy so he gets the long and healthy life he deserves. The third blog is for my "professional" life. It references my lovely Etsy store and all of the loveliness that inspires me on the wonderful world of Etsy

So happy together....

Today Easton and I spent some time with my mom, my grandmother, my aunt Gail and cousins Stacie and Natalie - as well as their boys. We were hoping all the ladies in the family could make it, but with a family as large as ours that doesn't always happen, but we were still thrilled to all get together with whoever could make it.

I love these times and they are times to cherish. How many families, especially as kids grow into adults and have families of their own can say that they still get together with their extended family - probably not many. I am so grateful, especially since Easton doesn't have any cousins yet (and hopefully not anytime soon Kolby!) that he still can have cousins in MY cousins' kids - such a blessing.

Some photos.

My little ham! I honestly don't know where he gets that from at all!?!?

Oh dear, I could not love him anymore!

Easton, the Fire Chief!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, we're back! Oh my gosh, I really am sorry for the lack of updates. There has been a lot going on, I can't even keep my head on straight! I have been updating on our family life a lot on Facebook and have been neglecting the blog, but I am back and ready to update more frequently! I have to take the time to do it!
So, enough rambling and apologizing and on to the fun!

Easton loves automobiles. Easton ADORES HUGE automobiles. Easton has a "Fire Chief" hat he wears all the time - he loves EVERYTHING fire chief, fire truck - typical boy! :-)Well, after voting last Tuesday, Ryan and I ran into my family’s long time friend (and old neighbor!) Dean England, who is known around the fire station as Lt. England! Dean was nice enough to invite Easton on his own private tour of the fire station - Easton was so excited! He got to sit in the fire truck, pull the siren, turn on the lights - he even got to try on some fire man gear like hats and boots - he thought it was the bee’s knees!

Ryan and I loved watching his eyes light up in awe and wonder. He got to live a little dream of his, isn’t that awesome? Having your child’s dream come true? He WAS a "fire chief" for an hour and a half and he could not stop talking about it. I get choked up thinking about it, because he truly was so excited and I just hope that Ryan and I can continue to make all of our little’s dude’s dreams come true.

On to the pictures!

Easton in the seat of honor!

Such an alert little driver ;-)

Thank you Deano for the awesome time! Easton had such a blast! What a dream come true! He could not stop talking about being "fire chief" and he still has his badge and carries it around constantly! You made one little boy awfully happy! (And his Mommy and Daddy too!)
