About Me

My photo
I am a 27 year old married mother of a beautiful, curly headed toddler named Easton and precious (and precocious) puppy named Ritzy. I have 3 blogs. The first blog is our family blog. Enjoy being nosey. Ha! The second blog is for the journey we have embarked on for our puppy. At almost 5 years old, our sweet Ritzy was diagnosed with calcium oxalate bladder stones. He had surgery to remove the stones. This blog is to document (and help others) our journey in saving Ritzy so he gets the long and healthy life he deserves. The third blog is for my "professional" life. It references my lovely Etsy store and all of the loveliness that inspires me on the wonderful world of Etsy

Easton Ryan has arrived!

A week ago today, our baby boy arrived. I am getting all teary eyed....time flies....

On January 9, 2008 at 6:06 p.m. Easton Ryan Loucks made his beautiful arrival into the world weighing in at 7 lbs. 13 oz. and 20 inches long! He put mom through the ringer! 6 hours 37 minutes of labor - including 2 1/2 hours of pushing! Unfortunately mom is built too small and he couldn't fit under her little pelvis, so he was born via c-section. Mom got to experience a little bit of everything that day, but she wouldn't change a thing. Dad was amazing and such a huge support during it all - labor, pushing and the c-section and boy is he smitten with his little man! Easton has been such a joy! Not only are mom and dad enjoying him thoroughly, but so are his grandparents and uncle who have been doting on him constantly as well! He is a champion nurser (so far! we're working on it!) and is sleeping in 4 hour blocks right now so we are feeling pretty good! Easton looks just like his daddy, who couldn't be more pleased! Of course, that means he is gorgeous, but did any of you doubt that!? ;-) Ritzy is also excited about the new arrival, although not so much when his baby brother is crying at 3:00 a.m.! Please allow me a moment to attach some pictures and brag. Love you all, thank you all for your support during our pregnancy and all of your prayers. Love,Kami, Ryan, Easton and Ritzy!
