About Me

My photo
I am a 27 year old married mother of a beautiful, curly headed toddler named Easton and precious (and precocious) puppy named Ritzy. I have 3 blogs. The first blog is our family blog. Enjoy being nosey. Ha! The second blog is for the journey we have embarked on for our puppy. At almost 5 years old, our sweet Ritzy was diagnosed with calcium oxalate bladder stones. He had surgery to remove the stones. This blog is to document (and help others) our journey in saving Ritzy so he gets the long and healthy life he deserves. The third blog is for my "professional" life. It references my lovely Etsy store and all of the loveliness that inspires me on the wonderful world of Etsy

Christmas 2008

Now I am finally getting around to adding some pictures from Christmas! Sorry I have been such a slacker with updating - life with an almost 1 year old is hectic enough and then add the holidays into the mix - wahoo! I'm pooped and now we have a birthday party to throw next week! :-)

Here are the pictures from Christmas, I have some videos I want to share later. I love Christmas, I am a bit of a "nazi" about it (as Ryan says) because I have to have the lights up early and we have to watch certain Christmas movies, listen to certain Christmas cds, go look at lights, all sorts of things to help us get into the mood. I HAVE to do it all! This year as no exception....we even took Easton to our church's kids Christmas program and he had a ball and sat through all two hours of it grinning from ear to ear and his eyes all aglow! We normally have so much fun during the Christmas season, but this year was even better with the addition of Easton. Seeing Christmas through Easton's eyes really gave Christmas back its magic for Ryan and I.

I cannot wait until Easton is old enough to understand the real meaning of Christmas and to be able to tell him the story about his Savior's birth. I can't wait to sit in the kitchen and make glittery "reindeer food" with him and sprinkle it on the front lawn. I can't wait to hear his precious little voice sing Christmas carols and to watch him sit out cookies and milk for Santa. Yes, Christmas with a child definitely brings back the magic, how lucky are we?!

Easton's 1st time seeing his Christmas "spread" :-)

He didn't know what to make of it all!

"Where to begin?"

Trying out his train, it was a huge hit!

He put the pedal to the metal and started running this thing like a big boy!

Playing....

Grampy and Grampy looking at their favorite gift - a book all about Easton called
"The A-Z of Easton Ryan"

Uncle Kolby said told E his car wouldn't work because it only has a sticker motor. Easton proved him wrong by giving it a little "foot power" ;-)

Reading "Hannah Mae, the Little Pelican of Sarasota Bay" A book we picked up for him on our trip to Florida. It is about The Pelican Man, a place we had visited!

He loves books!

Watching his Busy Ball Train, this is his "excited" face. He makes this face and kicks his legs up and down on the floor when he's really excited about something!

"Mom and Dad, I love Christmas!"

Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!

You did an ABC book?? Gosh, those turn out so great!! I did one for Mother's Day a couple years ago and I don't think anything will top it! Anyways, that is a cool choo choo. Pete would go insane if he saw that!
