We've been busy lately! Between all of our regular daily activities, Easton and I have also been enjoying some of the fun places in Grand Rapids that we can finally go visit since the weather has warmed up (a little!)
.
This week Tuesday, Easton and I joined our friends Annie, Katie, Amanda and Addie for an early afternoon at the Frederick Meijer Gardens! The kids had a blast! Although the butterflies really didn't capture their attention (except when it came to almost "squishing" a few beautiful winged creatures!), the outdoor "tree house" and garden maze sure did! It was such a fantastic day to enjoy the sunshine and warmth!

Katie ringing the garden bell, she is the only one who dared to!
A bad shot, but a rare one of two of the kids together. I did not get one of the three together but I think one of the other girls did, it is a rarity, let me tell you!
Easton was not happy a few exhibits were temporarily closed! ;-)
But he still had fun anyway! :-)
Smiles from my sweet boy!

Blurry, but such a cute expression!
"Mom? I think I mighta stepped on a butterfly, is that bad?"
Pretty butterflies
Also, this last week Thursday Easton and I joined up with Erin and Brody for some fun at the Grand Rapids Children's Museum, my pictures aren't great, but I am posting anyway. Getting a good shot of Easton right now is a lot of work, especially when he is having fun - he is always on the go!

Adorable! That ladybug thing is super cute!
Cute hat Easton!
Love the pics! So bummed we didn't go to FMG!
He gets cuter and cuter every post! I am so jealous..it looks like you guys had a great time! I sure miss home :(
Oh my, he looks so big! He sure enjoys the "hands-on" things doesn't he? You do such fun things with him. Keep it up, you will never regret giving him all of these explorative experiences. Now did you read "The Hungry Caterpillar" to him after the Gardens? I hope so as it is such a neat book about the life cycle of a butterfly. If you don't have it let me know and you can borrow a copy of mine! He needs to have the "reading connection" you know! Give him a hug and kiss from Aunt Vonnie.
He is just the cutest Kami! Those are both great places for his age...so fun!! We just went to FMG last Saturday and the Children's Museum last night (work event). Too fun! Looks like you guys had a great time!
